Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Estonia Q2 2021

In the second quarter of 2021, Estonia's iOS market for navigation and maps apps exhibited interesting trends in weekly downloads. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of the top 5 apps in this category.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with a consistent rise in weekly downloads. Starting at 563 downloads in late March, the app saw a gradual increase, peaking at 1.1K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also showed a positive trend. Downloads began at 371 in late March and grew steadily, reaching a high of 846 in the third week of June, before slightly dropping to 776 in the final week.

Google Earth experienced fluctuating download numbers. After starting with 146 downloads at the end of March, the app saw peaks and troughs, with the highest point being 284 downloads in mid-April and a subsequent decline to 91 by the end of June.

MOBO had a more varied performance. Downloads started at 101 at the end of March, peaked at 151 in early May, and then experienced a significant drop, ending the quarter with just 3 downloads in the final week of June.

NaviCup showed moderate activity with its downloads. Beginning with 37 at the end of March, the app saw increases and decreases throughout the quarter, peaking at 130 in mid-April and finishing with 110 downloads by the end of June.
